The Timmins Women's Recreational Hockey League was established in 2008
by three enthusiastic individuals who were keen on giving women,
in the Timmins area, a place to play organized ice hockey

We are a non-profit, non-sanctioned league affiliated with the Canadian Adult Recreational Hockey Association [CARHA] and proudly associated with several local community supporters whose contributions play a key role in our success

We have two separate divisions based on our experience over the past 16 years
We encourage our casual players to enjoy the sport at their own pace while empowering our
higher caliber players to compete within their own skill level

Recreational Division
For those new to the sport, have been playing for years or simply wish to enjoy a slower paced game with no slap shots.
We host four teams and play on Sunday nights at the Mt. Joy Arena.

Competitive Division
For mid/high caliber players who enjoy a quick pace where slap shots are allowed.
We consist of 3 teams and aim to play a total of 36 games in one season.
Games are at various arenas on various days from 7pm to 10pm.
